My finished Wicked banner.
Have you ever seen a super cool and
adorable panel and not known what
you should do with it?
Well, here's an idea for a quick project,
modify where ever you choose.
This is how my banner started ...
as a panel ...
Scribble Monsters II panel, to be exact.
I think it's wickedly adorable!!
Panel deconstructed ...
almost sad if I didn't have plans
for piecing them back together!
Example of constructing one block,
adding additional fabrics and
triming certain pictures to fit
my blocks of 12 1/2 inches:
After trimming and adding,
I pieced together for a 12 1/2 inch block:
And .... tada!
Five individual 12 1/2 inch blocks:
I pieced the blocks together
to create a long banner,
added outside borders,
then the backing and batting,
and quilted.
And that is how you get a project
complete in a weekend ...
pieced, quilted and hanging.
Pretty darn Wicked Cool!
